The Way Home is a side quest in Horizon Forbidden West.

Synopsis[]

In Landfall, Aloy overhears a conversation between Harriem and Kristia, two of the navigators for the fleet. Upon asking, the two reveal that the fleet's navigational ships were lost at sea, without which the Quen will be unable to make the return voyage. One of the ships may still having a working gyrocompass, the navigational instrument they need, but it is wrecked on an island surrounded by deadly currents.

Using the Sunwing, Aloy is able to reach the shipwreck.
