First To Fly is an errand quest in Horizon Forbidden West.

Synopsis

Kettah and Serivva, two members of the Tenakth Sky Clan are arguing about who was the first to fly, Ferikka, a soldier carried off by a Stormbird, or Aloy, on a Sunwing. They ask Aloy to bring back her armour, which still lies on the mountain, which is deemed impossible to climb. Aloy flies up to the mountain, only to find that the Stormbird that carried Ferikka is still alive, and has taken up patrol around the mountain. Aloy defeats the Stormbird in order to collect the pieces of the soldier's armour.

When she returns with the pieces, the two soldiers decide that Aloy should have it. One of them leads Aloy to the workbench nearby, where she repairs the remnants of the armour into the Tenakth Sky Climber, which she also receives as a reward for completing the quest.

Notes

• Although the quest may actually be received at any point after completing The Broken Sky, it can only be completed after the events of The Wings of the Ten.
  • However, in New Game+ it can be completed any time after the quest The Eye of the Earth, assuming a Sunwing has been overriden.
