He meets Mike when fitting explosives into an Idaho to blow up the Diamond Sky bar in the mission Grand Opening. During his only appearance set after 8-Ball's mission strand is completed, Slick mentions that 8-Ball is in hiding and won't be able to operate in his bomb shops.
Slick's appearance as an employee of 8-Ball, as well as the alternative car bomb shop locations, serves as a plot device for the car bomb purchase feature to be available after 8-Ball's absence after Love Boat, and subsequent arrest in Love of Money.
