Background[]

Fernandez is a member of Los Cabrones, a Cuban gang led by Umberto Robina in Little Havana, Vice City.

Events of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]

Fernandez is one of the many people that Umberto Robina, the gang leader, sends to retrieve a package from Downtown Vice City and deliver it to him in Viceport. Fernandez can either survive or be killed by either Victor Vance or the other gang members.

There is ambiguity over which gang member could be Fernandez, since both the driver and the shooter in the same Cuban Hermes are referred to as "Fernandez" when either one collects the package. Both of them uses the same character models as the other Los Cabrones gang members.
