The Mausoleum of King Deshret is a subarea located in Hypostyle Desert, Great Red Sand, Sumeru.

There has been a great cyclone on top of the mausoleum for a long time, though the cause was never determined.[1] It is permanently turned off after completing the World Quest Dual Evidence in Series Old Notes and New Friends.

Descriptions[]

The huge cone is like a supporting pillar between the high sky and the yellow sands that has stood in the middle of the desert since time immemorial. Standing in front of it, be you a commoner, a wealthy man, or a well-informed researcher, you shall feel that you are but a few grains of sand all the same.

There are neither coveted treasures nor gem-laden chambers at the pinnacle of the Mausoleum of King Deshret — only the desolation and decay of the desert, and the shreds of a grand dream.

Viewpoint, Aaru's Shut
King Deshret left a golden husk here, and his intelligence lies elsewhere. The giant pyramid is in fact only one corner of the palace, and many, many more temples may be found beneath it.

Trivia[]

(Approach the hole in the floor in front of room with the sarcophagus)
Paimon: Hmm, did Paimon recall wrongly? This path wasn't here when we came before...
Paimon: Let's go find out!
