Celia is a recurring character from the Disney Channel original series, The Villains of Valley View. She is the grandmother of Hartley, who rents the house next to her house to the Maddens. She is portrayed by Patricia Belcher.

Background[]

Biography[]

Not much is known about Celia's life or past and she doesn’t like to tell people about it. But, ever since she was a child she dresses as the Grim Reaper on Halloween to remind people that they are dead to her, and thus has several sizes of that costume. She also had a husband at some point, but they got divorced. She currently lives with her granddaughter in Valley View, Texas.

Personality[]

Celia is the cut-throat neighbor and landlady of the Madden family. She is often sarcastic and seems to not care about other people's feelings as she doesn't think before she speaks and often invites herself over unannounced many times.

Trivia[]

  • Celia holds the mechanical bull riding record at The Giddy Up Ranch steak house in 1977, under the pseudonym "The G.O.A.T."
  • She has a collection of medieval weaponry, such as clubs and bows.
