This Wiki is under full authority as there are users who continually monitor the content, images, templates and users. Administrators or Sysops and Bureaucrats are one of the main users with authorities who monitor this wiki. They are entrusted with this position as they considered to be to be highly trustworthy, mature and responsible, able to lead by example for other users.
Wiki Admin Team Responsilibities[]
The admin team should remain active to assist the wiki, having been entrusted with additional user rights by its community. An active status is defined as:
- Continuing substantial contributions, defined as edits that do not include modifying user space pages, or correcting spelling/grammar/formatting/just blocking a user.
- A steady flow of such contributions (mainspace edits), defined as editing on most days each month.
- Reasonable speed in replying to messages, dealing with vandalism, rollback bad contributions or edits.
What can administrators not do?[]
- Admins should not lose their temper, only if the contributor shows signs of disrespect. The admin is allowed to lose its temper as well when contributors are stealing content or templates from this wiki to another.
- Contributors with an blocking history will not be accepted to become an admin on this wiki as they are recognised as an unworthy user.
Becoming an administrator[]
For you to become an administrator, someone with bureaucrat access must make you one. On larger Wikis, there will usually be a community page for requests, with a page name such as "Bungo Stray Dogs Wiki:Requests for adminship". On a smaller wikis, you may ask a bureaucrat directly on his or her talk page.
If there are no active bureaucrats, use the "Requests for Adminship" page to nominate users to become admins or bureaucrats. Once a community decision has been reached (or if there is no active community to debate the decision), please leave a message at the wiki adoption requests page and Wikia Staff can provide the rights.
Removal of rights[]
If the administrator continues to be inactive for a prolonged period of time (maximum of 3 months) with no and no longer contributes to or oversees the wiki, removal of user rights will be considered by an active bureaucrat if no response was given even after informing them about the possible removal of rights.
How to recognise an Admin[]
Their profile should indicate that they are an admin or the badge represents that they are administrators in this wiki.
Bureaucrats[]
Administrators are the users who manage and direct wikia operations. Their tasks include the deletion of pages, approval of content moderators, chat moderators, and rollbacks, and the general management of the wikia. Administrators alone have the power to ban users and IP addresses from editing the wiki and delete blogs and blog comments. Administrators also hold all the rights given to content moderators, chat moderators, and rollbacks. Bureaucrats are admins who have the power to give rights to other users, either temporarily or after rights are earned
