Templates and Categories[]
Templates must be added to either Category:Templates or a relevant subcategory.
__NOTOC__ should be used to hide the table of contents.
Any non-template text (e.g. everything listed here) should be wrapped in <noinclude> tags, so that it doesn't get transcluded with the rest of the template. This includes line breaks!
<includeonly> tags may optionally be used to hide the template itself on its own page, or to add pages it is transcluded on into a category.
Headings[]
TemplateData[]
The bulk of the documentation should be provided using the built-in TemplateData system. This includes the description and variables.
Examples[]
Examples should be provided for the usage of the template.
- Inline templates should use {{tl}}.
- Block templates should use <code> and <nowiki> tags.
Subpages[]
Any subparts of a template should be linked here; e.g. Template:T/piece.
