Ryan Pearson (Democratic Party) is a member of the Rhode Island State Senate, representing District 19. He assumed office in 2013. His current term ends on January 5, 2027.

Pearson (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Rhode Island State Senate to represent District 19. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Pearson served as state Senate majority leader from January 3, 2023 to June 30, 2024.[1]

Ryan Pearson attended American University and earned his B.S. in Finance from Providence College. His professional experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President at RBS Citizens.[2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 25, 2014. Incumbent Ryan Pearson was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[7][8][9]

Pearson won election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island State Senate District 19. He defeated James B. Spooner in the Democratic primary on September 11. Incumbent Bethany Moura ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Pearson defeated Moura and independent Steven Orsini in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[10][11][12]
