Mark McKenney (Democratic Party) is a member of the Rhode Island State Senate, representing District 30. He assumed office on January 3, 2023. His current term ends on January 5, 2027.
McKenney (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Rhode Island State Senate to represent District 30. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Mark McKenney graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School. McKenney earned a B.A. in political science from Boston College in 1978 and a J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, in 1981. He also studied at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. His career experience includes working as an attorney. McKenney served as chair of the State Library Board, president of the Providence Community Library, and president of Literacy Volunteers of Rhode Island.[1][2]
