I am from a US Navy family, and I have lived in various states including California, Virginia, and Connecticut. I moved to Hereford, PA in 2005 where I now live with my husband Kerry and our two children.

I have a diverse career background, starting in video and webcast production in the Washington, DC area, working with clients like MTV and NASA. I transitioned to the veterinary field, becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician and dog trainer in 2004. In 2008, I founded Cold Nose Lodge in Alburtis, PA, where I continue to support animal welfare and rescue, fostering over 500 dogs.

I also established the Pet Care Career Training Program (PCCTP) in 2022, providing career prep for teens. I hold degrees from James Madison University and Northern Virginia Community College and have completed specialized courses in dog training.

I am a Certified Professional Animal Care Operator and a certified Fear Free Professional. I have been recognized by Lehigh Valley Business’ Women of Influence and am a graduate of Leadership Lehigh Valley and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program. I am active in the local business community and hold memberships in various professional organizations.

I run a committee for the Owners of Dog Daycares annual conference and am a contributing author of "Success Reimagined: Inspiring Stories of Local Leaders." I have served as Judge of Elections, including in the 2020 general election.
  • I will work to find common ground to build a better future for our community. We have more in common than we often realize and need to get back to treating each other with respect and moral decency. We are all interested in good jobs, taking care of our families, ensuring that the next generation has the tools they need to succeed, ensuring that people have access to medical care and the freedom to make choices about their bodies, and ensuring that people can retire with dignity. I selected the color purple for my campaign, because it symbolizes bringing together the red and blue and shows we are all in this together.
  • A strong economic base is the key to success for our community both for the present and the future. I plan to work on ensuring that we can continue to live in a safe, affordable community with good-paying jobs. Tax reform is a necessary part of this effort. I have had jobs since I was 16 and I understand the importance and sense of value that comes with working hard and being fairly rewarded for your work. As a small business owner myself, I also have a particular interest in helping other small businesses thrive.
  • I will work to assure that women’s right to reproductive healthcare and control of our own bodies is restored and maintained. Women should make choices about our own bodies in consultation with our families, clergy, and our doctors. Government has no role in deciding when women can have children (the right to birth control), whether we can have families (the right to IVF treatments), how much danger we must be in to receive medical attention (the right to make the difficult decision to terminate a pregnancy) or whether we must bear a rapist’s child. Medical professionals should not have to worry about going to jail or suffering professional or financial penalties for assisting a woman with healthcare. SCOTUS has made this a state issue.
I am most passionate about retaining our freedoms, including the freedom to receive the healthcare we need. I also strive to bring people together and focus on our shared values and desires for our community. I have learned the value of talking to people and listening to their concerns in working to find solutions. Communication will be one of the key focuses of my tenure.
When our community needed an advocate in the House to act in their best interests, I stood up and was willing to take on that challenge with energy, quiet confidence, and compassion.

On a personal level, I hope my volunteer work with dog rescues will have inspired others to foster, adopt, and advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.
I had a summer job as a video clerk at Phar-Mor when I was 16. I ran the register and helped people check out movies. It is a great example of how changes in technology can affect the job industry. Once high speed internet and streaming became commonly available, the entire video rental industry shrank.
Creating job opportunities for the next generation that allows them to own homes and raise families and ensure that the safety net of Social Security and Medicare is there for them when they can retire. This means focusing on better education for all, health insurance, tax reform and tax incentives to attract businesses of the future.
Why couldn’t the pirates play cards?

Because they were sitting on the deck.
Requiring the land around/under solar panels be planted with pollinator supporting plants that don’t require mowing.

While attending local township and borough meetings, I’ve heard many discussions on solar panels, specifically land that has already been transitioned from agriculture use or zoning regulations on land that may switch to solar farms in the future. Planting with native plants that do not need mowing, like clover, will eliminate the maintenance cost and limit the environmental impact of solar farms. This also helps address the critical decline in our pollinators by providing habitat. This benefits farms in the surrounding areas.
