H. Scott Conklin (Democratic Party) is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 77. He assumed office on December 1, 2006. His current term ends on November 30, 2024.
Conklin (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to represent District 77. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Conklin studied Carpentry at Clearfield County Vocational Technical School from 1975 to 1977. He then worked as a Carpenter's Apprentice from 1977 to 1980. He also received his Universal Certificate as a Refrigerant Technician in 1995. His professional experience includes being the owner/operator of a carpentry business from 1989 to 2007 and as the current owner and operator of Conklin's Corner Antique Mall.

2014
Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent H. Scott Conklin was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Conklin defeated Libertarian candidate Charles T. Martin in the general election.[5][6][7]
Conklin was exploring a run for Governor of Pennsylvania in 2014, against Republican incumbent Gov. Tom Corbett but did not run. Conklin was the 2010 Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor, losing narrowly in the general election.[8]
2012
Conklin ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 77. Conklin ran unchallenged in the April 24 primary and defeated Ron Reese in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[9][10]
2010
Lieutenant Governor
Conklin ran for lieutenant governor against Jim Cawley. Cawley won the election.[11]
House
Conklin ran for his current state house seat and won re-election to District 77 in 2010. He defeated Jonathan A. Saidel and Doris A. Smith-Ribner in the May 18 primary. He defeated Republican Joyce Haas in the general election on November 2, 2010.[12]
