Biography
Jason Ruffalo was born in Racine, Wisconsin. He obtained an associate degree from Gateway Technical College in 2007 and a bachelor's degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2009. His professional experience includes working as an electrical engineer. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt and is involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.[1][2]

|I am a military trainer for power generation. I train our brave members of the armed forces how to safely maintain and troubleshoot commercial and mobile power generation to keep the power on when it is needed most.
I have been heavily involved in my community, working with Habitat for Humanity, the Wilder Foundation, Feed My Starving Children, and many more.
Most notably, my Bike MS 150 Team has raised over $500,000 between fundraising and in kind donations. The MS Society help fund research to cure multiple sclerosis and help those living with MS.
I enjoy running, biking, cooking, and sports!
- The key to a great society and economy is affordable and equitable education. If we expect our neighbors to pick themselves up by the bootstraps, then let's give them the bootstraps.
- Life and Freedom. The right to life means the right to accessible healthcare, irrespective of income. Someone dealing with a debilitating disease without healthcare is not as free as one with healthcare.
- Women should have full control over their bodies. Period.
My focus is to bring affordable and impactful education to every Minnesotan to allow them to flourish in this great state.
I will fight to ensure affordable healthcare to all Minnesotan to help those struggling with illness, and open opportunities for small business to expand instead of pouring money into a broken healthcare and insurance system.
What a woman does with her body is, strictly speaking, nobody's business but her own.

|Jason Ruffalo is an electrical engineer who has worked in the field for over ten years. He is a dedicated member of his community, having worked with great non-profits like the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Habitat for Humaninty, the United Way, Wilder Foundation, Feed My Starving Children, Courage Kenny, and more.
He is looking to bring his problem solving skills along with his passion of working within his community to bring balance and equality back to District 35B.
- A fair and equitable education is the foundation of our communities and the cornerstone of this great country. This includes fair pay for teachers and providing them with the resources they need to educate our children and teens, reducing racial segregation in our schools, and providing access to higher education in community colleges, trade, and technical colleges.
- On average a person in the top 1% of income will live 12 years longer than a person living at or near the poverty line. Healthcare is the largest factor contributing to this gap. My goal for 35b is to ensure that everyone has access to healthcare by instituting a single-payer system. Medicare for all is about protecting your neighbors, family, friends, and ultimately yourself, and it is the right choice for Minnesota.
- People of all genders, sexual orientations, and lifestyle choices should feel free and safe to be the person they are anywhere, anytime. As the 14th Amendment clearly states: "No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
