Pyotr Demianovich Ouspenskii (known in English as Peter D. Ouspensky; Russian: ÐÑÑÑ ÐемÑÑÌÐ½Ð¾Ð²Ð¸Ñ Ð£ÑпеÌнÑкий, romanized: Pyotr Demyánovich Uspénskiy; 5 March 1878 â 2 October 1947)[2] was a Russian philosopher and esotericist known for his expositions of the early work of the Greek-Armenian teacher of esoteric doctrine George Gurdjieff.
