The Golden Hesperornis Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Overview[]

Golden Hesperornis Eggs are randomly dropped by Hesperornis. They can be eaten or used to make Extraordinary Kibble for taming Astrocetus, Griffin, Megalania, Rock Elemental, Thylacoleo, and Yutyrannus.

The Golden Hesperornis Egg can't be hatched.

Acquiring[]

In order to lay a golden egg, a tamed/untamed Female Hesperornis must kill and eat 5 fish. Once it is satisfied, it will walk up onto land and lay an egg that will be either a regular Hesperornis Egg or a Golden Hesperornis Egg.

Usage[]

Little creatures love the golden egg. When fed to a small non-rideable tame, the egg gives them a temporary 500% increased experience buff. Humans and bigger creatures can eat it as well for a 10% buff. The buff lasts for 10 minutes.

Notes[]

Hesperornis also lays Hesperornis Egg.
The Golden Hesperornis Egg cannot be transferred to the Vulture due to them only accepting Spoiled Meat.
- If the egg is forced to go into the Vulture's inventory from killing an entity possessing it, then it can be force fed.
