The Moschops Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Overview[]

Moschops Eggs are randomly dropped by Moschops. They can be eaten or used to make Superior Kibble for taming Allosaurus, Argentavis, Castoroides, , Daeodon, Dire Bear, Direwolf, Dunkleosteus, Gasbags, Mammoth, Megalodon, Megalosaurus, Megatherium, Paraceratherium, Plesiosaur, Snow Owl, Tapejara, and Woolly Rhino. On ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile , they can be used to make Kibble (Moschops Egg) for taming Purlovia.

After two Moschops mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby Moschops.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild Moschops will cause them to run away instead of attacking, making collecting their eggs relatively safe.

Incubation

The Moschops Egg takes 2h 37m 52.927s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 16 to 20 °C / 61 to 68 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose Health. The female Moschops needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.

Super Fertilized Moschops Eggs are a type of Moschops Egg exclusive to ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile.

These Eggs can be obtained after a female Moschops with a Herbivore Pheromone applied has laid one. They will hatch quicker than normal Moschops Eggs and the baby Moschops will have better stats when it has hatched.

They can also be used to craft Super Kibble (Moschops Egg), which will tame Creatures faster and with more taming effectiveness.
