The Bloodstalker Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.
Overview[]
Bloodstalker Eggs are dropped after two Bloodstalkers have mated.
After two Bloodstalkers mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby Bloodstalker.
Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild Bloodstalkers will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.
Incubation
The Bloodstalker Egg takes 2h 56m 27.388s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 27 to 30 °C / 81 to 86 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose Health. The female Bloodstalker needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.
Hatching[]
To be able to hatch the egg, a nearby source of heat such as a Dimetrodon had to be present to incubate it on the spot.
Once hatched, the baby takes in raw meat rather than cooked meat. They also consume blood packs at a much slower rate than meat.
Note[]
- Bloodstalker Egg is the first to
- have an animated appearance.
- have a different hatching sound effect.
