AnglerGel is an organic fuel resource that can be obtained by killing 
Angler, 
Deathworm, Corrupted creatures, or from fishing.
AnglerGel is the longest lasting lighting source and can be used on the Standing Torch and Wall Torch. It also has the least weight of any lighting fuel. When used on a Standing Torch, or Wall Torch the torch's color turns blue.
AnglerGel is needed to craft and repair the 
Night Vision Goggles and 
Electric Prod. After the Prod has been used once, it has to be refilled at a Fabricator with 8 AnglerGel.
AnglerGel is also used to passive tame a 
Manta.

Forge: While it is not quite inexpensive, it is useful for forges on mobile bases since it has an extremely low weight plus its long burning time, or for forges on insular bases since it requires only one slot (Filled with 59 × AnglerGel) to process a fully loaded forge in the 7 other slots
Light: While one stack lasts 4 days, it can still add up quickly if this is used as a basic light source

Achatina in ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile drop AnglerGel. This is due to the fact that Mobile wasn't originally planned to have an ocean.- In the snow cave in ARK: Survival Evolved Mobile, you can use a dire wolf to bite Angler that float near lake shore for hundreds of AnglerGel each. Angler do not fight back.
