Since the 3 models are all for action research, what are the common elements of the three?

Answer: The three models can show how to become a better teacher in terms of teaching strategies, classroom
management, setting up a conducive learning atmosphere, creating lesson plans, and assessment. The same dynamic
method based on "Observe, Reflect, Plan, and Act" is shared by all practitioners and enables them to examine into and
evaluate their work.

OBSERVE The Problem

1. Bridging the learning gap between the students under Modular Distance
Learning (MDL) and Online Distance Learning (ODL) in Biñan Integrated
National High School during S.Y. 2020-2021 2nd Semester.
2. Interactivity has been identified as a crucial contextual component that
may influence the learning and happiness of online students (Anderson,

2003). Interactivity in online courses can take the form of formal interaction
that is incorporated into the overall course design or informal engagement
that takes place outside of the online course (Rhode,2009). Hence, the
students' primary difficulties have been self-study and a deficient internet
connection such as connection issues, insufficient sleep, and time
constraints caused by the large number of modules of activity, diversion,
and inability to concentrate. (Davis,  2021)
3. The data's findings indicate that learners from modular distance learning.
However, even if they have a tablet provided by the school, they still are
unable to keep up with the courses. In contrast, students enrolled in online
distance learning are able to keep up with the lessons; the only issue they
had was an unreliable internet connection. We may learn from this
circumstance that the privileged are the ones who can benefit, and the
poor are not. It is crucial to understand that in order to apply the suggested
intervention, the teachers will need to put in extra effort and go beyond
what is required

REFLECT Reflection

1. What I hope to achieve here is to give immediate solution for the problem
that bring by Modular Distance Learning and Online Learning. To solve
these problems, I believe things must be handled in a different manner.
Students were able to comprehend the lesson with the teacher's guidance,
using strategies like phone call intervention. This can fill the gap between
the MDL and ODL as an additional activity.
2. This study enhances the intervention and strategy with relation to the
allocation of modules in the MDL and the strategy in the ODL. Notably,
these procedures are being utilized since we are still taking a limited
number of classes.

PLAN Plan of Action

1. I will conduct Qualitative research to gather the thought, opinions,

expressions of students in ODL and MDL through questionnaire and
surveys.
2. Accordingly, we used a different approach to deal with these difficulties.  
The phone call intervention helped the students comprehend the lesson-
guided by the teacher. This might fill in the gaps between the MDL and
other activities also ODL. It is also very encouraged that teachers involve
parents in their students' school performance as they are available at those

times. If necessary, the teacher can contact the parent to initiate a group
chat so everyone can talk and ask questions.
3. With the support of parents' involvement, teachers and the use of
technology, I believe this strategy is feasible within the allotted time frame
and achievable.

ACT Implementation

1. Perhaps it will be effective to organize a general meeting at a time that is

convenient for both parents and teachers to discuss various issues. with the
assistance of the section/teacher grades. 
2. I will jot down about the parents' comments and suggestions during the
general meeting that the subject teacher organizes.
3. The purpose of this is to gather parents' perspectives that they are  found
out through their children at home using that modality. This is essential so
that teachers can adjust, and change things as needed or change activities.
These data can give a comprehensive overview for teachers  regarding what
is appropriate to do and what is not.

EVALUATE Findings

1. The data's findings will be put to use throughout my career as a teacher

and in my professional practice. Knowing about these circumstances is
quite helpful for us preservice teachers if they occur frequently. In this
manner, we are able to know what to do and how to assist our future
students.
2. The findings of the data will be worth sharing for any teachers, mentors,
parents, community and future educators

MODIFY Recommendation

Future educators may be able to suggest an improved intervention for face-to-face

modality given that modality is now in use if their research is in line with this topic.
Hence, no student will fall behind in obtaining a quality education, especially after
the subsequent modality transition.

 C. Reflect

 As a future teacher, is conducting an Action Research worth doing?

Answer: Yes
 Why?
Answer: As a future teacher, I wholeheartedly agree that conducting action research is worth the effort for a
variety of reasons, including the ability to learn how to enhance our practice in terms of teaching strategies,
classroom management, setting up a conducive learning environment, developing instructional materials, and
assessment. Thus, conducting action research can assist individuals in learning new information that is pertinent
to our field of expertise.
 How can AR be useful for every classroom teacher?
Answer: Every classroom teacher can benefit from using AR since it can transform how lessons are taught in the
classroom and make it easier to measure the impact of reorganizing the curriculum. In order to provide their
students with a high-quality education, this will aid teachers in enhancing new comprehension.

D. Write Action Research Prompts

1. OBSERVE

Remembering my classroom observations in FS 1, noticed that there are many questions that I raised in my mind.
These include:

 Why is strong classroom management so extremely important?

 Why is it necessary for a teacher to have an effective instructional plan when lecturing Araling Panlipunan?
  Why do some students in Araling Panlipunan not pay much attention during lectures?
2. REFLECT

Thinking deeply about those problems, perhaps something must have been done to solve the problem or answer the
question, like:

 Having clear seating arrangement, classroom organization and proper classroom etiquette.
 Incorporate technology in lecturing Araling Panlipunan such as watching engaging videos, and interesting
activities.
 Making participation a component of a student's overall mark or rewarding active engagement in class are
two strategies for getting students to pay attention in class. Alternatively, you may use icebreaker exercises
like knee bends, stretches, or jumping jacks as a break between presentations or assignments.

3. PLAN

 Now, that I am in FS2, I plan to make a plan for my solution to problem the letter c which is making
participation a component of a student's overall mark or rewarding active engagement in class are two
strategies for getting students to pay attention in class. Alternatively, you may use icebreaker exercises like
knee bends, stretches, or jumping jacks as a break between presentations or assignments because students
will be more engaged and attentive in class if they do this. Given that the majority of pupils, particularly

high school students, are competitive, the reward given during their active participation will encourage
them to maintain their alignment.
