Lesson: Week: 4 Day : Tuesday Date: 21 January, 2019 Time : 8.40 am - 9.40 am Class : 1 Progresif Subject : ENGLISH LANGUAGE Topic : PHONICS Theme: World of Knowledge Language Focus Skills Main: Reading Complementary: Writing Content Standard 3.1-Recognise words in linear and non-linear texts 4.1- Form letters and words in neat legible print by using knowledge of sounds of letters using cursive writing Learning standard 3.1.1 Identify and recognise the shapes of the letters 4.1.1 i) Demonstrate fine motor control of hands in the alphabet and fingers by using pen or pencil correctly 1) By the end of the lesson most pupils will be able to write two new letters L and M on their Objectives exercise book. 2) By the end of the lesson most pupils will be able to complete the worksheet given correctly.
Success Criteria/ All pupils can write letter L and M.
Can do statements All pupils can complete the worksheet given.

CCE : Creativity & Imagination HOTS: Creation Differentiation Strategies: Task 21 CL : Pair / Group Discussion LEARNING OUTLINES: 1. Pupil recap the letter that they have learnt yesterday. Pre Lesson 2. Pupils sound out both of the letters and come out with words that start with that letter. 3. Teacher writes the letter L and M on the board. 4. Teacher introduces the sounds for each letter. Lesson Development 5. Pupils come out with words that start with that letter. 6. Pupils practice writing out the letter on their exercise book correctly. 7. Teacher distributes worksheet to pupils. Post Lesson 8. Pupils complete the worksheet given correctly. Assessment Task Main Skill The number that achieved the stipulated skill is : Reflection: Non-achievers were given extra guidance/enrichments/consolidation by teacher. Attendance Complementary Skill / The number that achieved the stipulated skill is : Non-achievers were given extra guidance/enrichments/consolidation by teacher.
