Many fans of the Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, are focused on NFL playoff predictions or where Travis and Taylor Swift might pop up together next. We’ll leave the forecasting to them and will be over here holding down the play-by-play related to the Kelce family’s food views.

While Travis’ Walmart-exclusive meals feature classic flavors that are big in his adopted NFL hometown of Kansas city (barbecue brisket, burnt ends, baked beans, mac and cheese), his own food hot takes tend to be a bit more, well, unexpected.

In case you missed it, Chiefs tight end Travis’ go-to pregame meal is French toast and strawberries, he declares Reese’s Puffs the best cereal and claims he could eat a whole box, and reveals that he eats “Uncrustables probably more than I eat anything else in the world.”

Unlike those classically kid-friendly preferences, though, Travis’s latest confession doesn’t have to do with breakfast or lunch fare. And this one comes co-signed by Eagle center Jason’s wife, Kylie.

One of Travis Kelce’s Favorite 3-Ingredient Snacks

On a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, which the brothers co-host from their respective homes, it quickly became clear that Jason and Travis are also on separate teams when it comes to their preferred meat and cheese combinations.

To kick off the late-December show, Jason requested that his younger brother give him a wardrobe check: “Do you see cheese on my shirt? I was eating cheese…in our household, we just eat crackers, cheese, and pepperoni.”

Travis asked, “A little charcuterie board?”

“I’m definitely not putting it on a board,” Jason said. “I put it on a plate.”

Then Jason admitted that “actually, I don’t do anything,” before asking the real MVP—his wife Kylie—to construct a snack that Travis suggested: a cracker topped with blueberry goat cheese and a slice of pepperoni.

Before diving into a taste test, Jason asked Kylie: “Do you think pepperoni would go well with blueberry goat cheese? Doesn’t that seem like it’s a weird combination?”

“No, it’s salty and sweet,” Kylie countered.

“Now you both are teaming up against me and I've got to try it now,” Jason said.

“Jason, how is that pepperoni and blueberry goat cheese with a cracker?” Travis asked while Jason took a bite of the Kylie-constructed charcuterie combo, which kind of reminded us of a modern-day twist on a Lunchable . “Salty and sweet?”

“It’s not bad,” the Philadelphia Eagles football center replied. “It's just a weird combination.”

“No it’s not, it’s amazing,” Travis said. “It’s not my ‘goat’ to. [Laughs] It’s literally, just like, if it’s on a plate, I’ll throw all three of ‘em together.”

Jason then recommended an upgrade that he thought would make for a far more suitable addition to that trio than pepperoni: prosciutto. A cracker topped with honey goat cheese and pepperoni might just work, Jason explained, but with blueberry, prosciutto would pair far better.

“Blueberry and pepperoni is a weird combo,” Jason declared, due to the strong spice flavors of the popular pizza topping. “It’s not bad though,” he added before devouring another berry goat cheese- and pepperoni-topped cracker.

The silly segment ended with the duo sharing a laugh and thanking Kylie for helping the brothers get “to the bottom of that” sweet and savory debate.
