Allrecipes' editorial guidelines Updated on September 28, 2023 Even if you’re not a football fan, there is almost no way you missed the news about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. But, in case you’ve been avoiding TikTok, podcasts, the radio, your local news station, or the internet in general, we’ve got you covered. Getty Images/Allrecipes The “Traylor” saga goes all the way back to July when Kelce—a Super Bowl-winning tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs—attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium (which is also where the Chiefs play). The Eras tradition is to make friendship bracelets that concertgoers and fellow Swifties will trade at every show—so Kelce made a bracelet with his phone number on it that he hoped to give to Swift herself. However, that never happened—and Kelce shared how bummed he was about the missed opportunity on the podcast he has with his brother Jason, “New Heights.” From there, rumors began spreading that the pair were chatting and maybe even hanging out. Finally, Kelce set the record straight on “The Pat McAfee Show” last week, saying, “I told her, I’ve seen you rock a stage in Arrowhead, and you might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead. We’ll see what happens in the near future.” Well, he really meant the near future because, a few days later, Swift was spotted cheering on Kelce at the Chiefs vs. Bears game. Swift was seen in a box with Mama Kelce—Kelce’s mother who became famous for having two sons playing each other in the 2023 Super Bowl—celebrating Kelce’s touchdown. The internet exploded and photos and videos of Swift at the game—plus her and Kelce after the game—immediately went viral. But one photo, in particular, has sparked a social media moment that’s already making its way to market. A photo shared by X (formerly Twitter) user @tswifterastour shows Swift posing next to a plate with a chicken tender and some dipping sauces. The caption reads, “Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch!” Heinz Releasing Taylor Swift x Travis Kelce Sauce The tweet has more than 31 million views and has hundreds of comments—including from brands like KFC and Postmates. And, if the thousands of likes weren’t enough, the photo has even elicited a reaction from Heinz—the official provider of ketchup and ranch at Arrowhead Stadium. The brand announced today that it will release a limited-edition “Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch” sauce. Heinz says it plans to release 100 bottles of the limited-edition sauce—because Kelce’s football number is 87 and Swift’s lucky number is 13, and 87 plus 13 equals 100, of course. The company already sells a ketchup and ranch mashup called Kranch, so it’s not a new product but rather a package redesign inspired by "Traylor." Heinz hasn’t announced how you can obtain its Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch sauce but says that more information will be provided on its Instagram account soon. So, all you Swifties and Kelce fans out there, you might want to give Heinz a follow if you want to snag this exclusive bottle. But considering that Kelce’s jersey sales rose 400% after Swift’s appearance at the game, we have a feeling that 100 bottles won’t be enough. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback!
