This garlic bread is made with sliced hot dog buns for a quick side. I stumbled upon this creation when I needed garlic bread but didn't have French bread. You'd never know the difference!

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings

  • 4 hot dog buns

  • 4 teaspoons butter, softened, or as needed

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder, or to taste

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients.

  2. Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler.

  3. Separate buns and spread butter onto the cut side of each one.
