Original recipe (1X) yields 15 servings 1 ⅛ cups butter, softened 1 ¼ cups white sugar 1 ¼ teaspoons vanilla sugar 2 tablespoons grated lemon zest 1 tablespoon white sugar 1 teaspoon salt 5 eggs 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 10 inch loaf pan. Mix grated lemon rind with 1 tablespoon sugar. Beat butter and sugar with vanilla sugar and lemon rind until the mixture becomes white and fluffy.
