Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • 1 (3 pound) salmon fillet

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon wasabi powder

  • 1 (8 ounce) bag Yukon gold potato chips, crushed

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Place salmon, skin-side down, onto the prepared baking sheet.

  3. Mix mayonnaise and wasabi powder together in a small bowl; spread evenly over salmon, then press crushed chips over top.

  4. Roast in the preheated oven until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 20 minutes.

Grilling Instructions:

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate. Cook salmon on the preheated grill until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 20 minutes. For a smoked flavor, throw some soaked apple wood chips onto the hot coals, and grill with the lid closed.
