Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings 7 cups quick-cooking oats 1 cup wheat germ 1 cup wheat bran ½ cup brown sugar ½ cup vegetable oil ½ cup honey ½ cup water 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (Optional) 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg (Optional) 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup chopped dates 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup flaked coconut (Optional) Directions Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
