This Greek salad dressing is the "secret recipe" from the pizzeria that I work at. This is the best dressing I have ever tasted, people offer to buy it constantly, but if we sold it we wouldn't be able to make enough to use in the restaurant! The recipe makes almost a gallon but can be scaled down easily.

Allrecipes Community Tips and Praise

“I’ve been using this dressing for years and it is excellent — perfect for those that enjoy a zesty, flavorful dressing,” raves one community member. “I took the time to do some math to scale the recipe down to about a cup total yield, hope this helps: 6 tbsp. olive oil; 1 tsp. each garlic powder, dried oregano, basil; 3/4 tsp. each black pepper, salt, onion powder, Dijon mustard; 8 tbsp red wine vinegar.”

“Delicious dressing, an absolute keeper,” says katya. “I've made this dressing many times now and received compliments on it. The only modification I make is to use the same amount of olive oil and red wine vinegar.”

"This recipe really is absolutely fabulous!" according to one Allrecipes community member. "I use it on Greek salad and as a marinade for chicken. I make a batch every week so I always have it on hand."
