This is a sweet but tangy coleslaw that my family loves. It reminds me of the slaw at KFC. It's always best if left overnight.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • cup white sugar

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 2 ½ tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 ½ tablespoons vinegar

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 9 ½ cups shredded cabbage

  • ½ cup grated carrots

  • ¼ cup minced sweet onion

Directions

  1. Whisk mayonnaise, sugar, milk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl until dressing is well combined.

  2. Add cabbage, carrots, and onion to dressing; mix well. Refrigerate before serving, at least 3 hours or up to overnight.
