Allrecipes' editorial guidelines Published on June 10, 2024 Close Photo: Getty Images/Allrecipes The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Green Life Farms, based in Lake Worth, Florida, is voluntarily recalling one lot of 4-ounce containers of baby arugula because they have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. The presence of salmonella was found during routine testing in a single harvest of the greens. No illnesses have been reported to date. How to Identify the Recalled Baby Arugula The recalled baby arugula was sold at select Publix locations from 5/31/24 with a sell-by date of 6/15/24. The recall applies only to products marked with Lot #LW15124 in a 4-ounce, clear plastic package marked with the lot code stamped on the top. Publix has stores in eight states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Anyone who has purchased the affected arugula can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. As a reminder, signs and symptoms of salmonella infection may include diarrhea, fever, stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, and/or headaches.
