Experience

Like so many people who love good food and love to cook, Robin Shreeves is self-taught home cook who turned her enjoyment of feeding her family into a career.

Robin's first food writing job was for Mother Nature Network. For 10 years, she wrote a daily eco-friendly food blog for the environmental news network. Her personal essay In Praise of Scruffy Hospitality was the second most viewed piece on the site, garnering over 1.22 million page views. A highlight from her time writing for MNN was her invitation to the White House to cover then First Lady Michelle Obama's White House garden harvest.

Her work with MNN led to writing and editing for many other food and beverage publications. It also naturally led her to expand her knowledge and skills into the alcoholic beverage space, writing about wine and wine tourism and judging wine competitions throughout the US and Europe.

Education

Robin attended Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University) where she majored in Bible and minored in communications. She holds a BS in Bible. She earned a post-baccalaureate K-12 English teaching certification from Rowan University (and taught high school English for 5 years). Currently, Robin is enrolled in Wharton's Digital Marketing certification program.
