Schreiber Foods was notified by a supplier that its whey protein concentrate used in several cream cheese spreads may have been contaminated with salmonella. The recalled cream cheese spreads were distributed nationwide to Aldi, Hy-Vee, Schnucks, and Hornbacher's in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, California, Texas, Missouri, Kentucky, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
