This million dollar BLT dip is creamy and fresh-tasting, like a classic BLT, and is quick to make. Serve with your favorite crackers.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 10 servings

  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped roasted almonds

  • 8 ounces shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 3 Roma tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped, divided

  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions, plus more for garnish

  • 1/2 cup pre-cooked chopped bacon bits, such as Hormel® Real Bacon Bits, plus more for garnish

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • 1 cup finely chopped lettuce

  • crackers for serving

Directions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, almonds, cheese, and garlic powder in a bowl and stir well.

  2. Reserve 2 tablespoons tomatoes for garnish and add remaining tomatoes into mayonnaise mixture, along with green onions and bacon.  Stir well and season to taste with salt and pepper.

  3. Spread mixture into a serving dish and top with lettuce, reserved tomatoes, and more green onions and bacon. Refrigerate until ready to serve with crackers.
