Bobby Hutcherson (born January 27, 1941) in Los Angeles is a jazzvibraphone and marimba player. "Little B's Poem" (from the album Components) is one of his best-known compositions. Hutcherson has influenced younger vibraphonists including Steve Nelson, Joe Locke and Stefon Harris.
Biography
Early life and career
Bobby Hutcherson was born to Eli, a master mason, and Esther, a hairdresser. Hutcherson was exposed to jazz by his brother Teddy, who listened to Art Blakey records in the family home with his friend Dexter Gordon. His older sister Peggy was a singer in Gerald Wilson's orchestra and personally introduced Hutcherson to Eric Dolphy (her boyfriend at the time) and Billy Mitchell. Hutcherson was inspired to take up the vibraphone when he heard Milt Jackson play "Bemsha Swing" on the Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants LP at the age of 12. Still in his teens, Hutcherson began his professional career in the late fifties working with Curtis Amy and Carmell Jones, as well as with Dolphy and Charles Lloyd at Pandora's Box on the Sunset Strip. He made his recording debut on August 3, 1960, cutting two songs for a 7-inch single with the Les McCann trio for Pacific Jazz (released 1961), followed by the LP Groovin' Blue with the Curtis Amy-Frank Butler sextet on December 10 (also released by Pacific Jazz in 1961). In January 1962, Hutcherson joined the Billy Mitchell-Al Grey group for dates at The Jazz Workshop in San Francisco and Birdland in New York City (opposite Art Blakey). After touring with the Mitchell-Grey group for a year, Hutcherson settled in New York City (on 165th street in The Bronx) where he worked part-time as a taxi driver, before fully entering the jazz scene via his childhood friend, bassist Herbie Lewis.
"I Don't Know Why" (sometimes listed as "I Don't Know Why I Love You") is a 1968 song by American singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder, from the album For Once in My Life (1968). It also serves as the B-side for the 1969 hit "My Cherie Amour". It peaked at No. 39 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was recorded when Wonder was 18 years old, and became a moderate hit single, together with "You Met Your Match", another song from the album.

Cover versions
The Jackson 5 cover the song (listed as "Don't Know Why I Love You") on their 1970 album ABC.
Al Kooper covered this song on his album "You Never Know Who Your Friends Are", 1969.
The Rolling Stones released a 1969 cover of the song in 1975 on their ABKCO outtake album Metamorphosis. It was recorded on 3 July 1969 during the sessions for Let It Bleed, the night that news broke of Brian Jones' death.
The song was covered by the B.E.F. on their 1991 album Music of Quality and Distinction Volume Two, featuring Green Gartside of Scritti Politti on vocals.
CNBLUE (Korean:씨엔블루) is a South Korean pop rock band formed in Seoul. The lineup originally consisted of Jung Yong-hwa (leader, guitar, main vocals, rap), Lee Jong-hyun (guitar, vocals), Kang Min-hyuk (drums), and Kwon Kwang-jin (bass), and they released their debut Japanese mini-albumNow or Never in 2009. Kwon Kwang-jin left the band shortly after and was replaced by Lee Jung-shin (bass, rap).
CN is an initialism for Code Name, while BLUE is a backronym for burning, lovely, untouchable, and emotional; it is meant to portray the images of Jong-hyun, Minh-hyuk, Jung-shin, and Yong-hwa, respectively. They released four teasers for their 1st Korean mini album Bluetory, starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jong-hyun, Min-hyuk, Jung-shin and lastly, Yong-hwa on January 6, 8, 11 and 13, 2010 respectively. On January 14, 2010, CNBLUE debuted their first mini-album in Korea with the lead single "I'm a Loner" (Korean:외톨이야). Their fan club is called "Boice".
"I Don't Know Why (I Just Do)" is a 1931 popularsong.
The music was written by Fred E. Ahlert, the lyrics by Roy Turk. The song was published in 1931. It had three periods of great popularity: in 1931, right after its publication; in 1946; and in 1961. into 1962.
In 1931, the biggest-selling version was either by Russ Columbo or by Wayne King; both versions and recordings by Bennie Krueger's orchestra (with a vocal by Smith Ballew) and by Kate Smith all had significant popularity.
In 1946, three versions, by Tommy Dorsey's orchestra (with a vocal by Stuart Foster), by Frank Sinatra, and by Skinnay Ennis, all contended for popularity.
In 1961, a US hit recording was issued by Linda Scott. It reached a peak position #12 in 8 weeks on the Billboard chart; in early 1962, Eden Kane reached the British Top 10 with his version.
The song has been recorded by many artists (ranging from country-blues legends like Moon Mullican and Jerry Lee Lewis, to swing legends Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin) and is now a standard.

I waited 'til I saw the sun
I don't know why I didn't come
I left you by the house of fun
I don't know why I didn't come
I don't know why I didn't come
When I saw the break of day
I wished that I could fly away
Instead of kneeling in the sand
Catching teardrops in my hand
My heart is drenched in wine
But you'll be on my mind
Forever
Out across the endless sea
I would die in ecstasy
But I'll be a bag of bones
Driving down the road alone
My heart is drenched in wine
But you'll be on my mind
Forever
Something has to make you run
I don't know why I didn't come
I feel as empty as a drum
I don't know why I didn't come
I don't know why I didn't come...

Boulevard - Dan Byrd
I don't know why
You said goodbye
Just let me know you didn't go
Forever my love
Please tell me why
You make me cry
I beg you please I'm on my knees
If that's what you want me to
Never knew that it would go so far
When you left me on that boulevard
Come again you would release my pain
And we could be lovers again
Just one more chance
Another dance
And let me feel it isn't real
That I've been losing you
This sun will rise
Within your eyes
Come back to me and we will be
Happy together
Never knew that it would go so far
When you left me on that boulevard
Come again you would release my pain
And we could be lovers again
Maybe today
I'll make you stay
A little while just for a smile
And love together
For I will show
A place I know
In Tokyo where we could be

[Mia X & Mo B. Dick] Ooh, ooh, ooh, hey yeah, ahh no So much yeah, ooh [Mia X singing] There's so much trouble in my life Sometimes it gets so bad I just breakdown and cry I got my rent to pay and it's overdue Don't wanna sale my body just to make it through You see I can't depend upon no man To be responsible or even understand It's just the way it is at this point and time Sometimes it gets so scared unless it blows my mind Me and my homegirls, we got a plan Every night at seven we'll take things in our own hands Now we can play around, let's make some ends I got my hustle on cause money's my best friend [Mia X rapping; Verse 1] I wanna be stress free, rest easy at night But there's so much drama goin' on in my life These days, nights missed get you labeled naive And commons get taking for stupidity So I keep my guard up in this macho world Cause everybody's running game on mama's little girl We getting babies from shady, wanna-be playas Who wanna lay us, stick ya, hit ya, forget ya while we stay up Crying till our eyes are swollen Single mothers got the weight of the world on they shoulders Want em' to hold us and tell us it's gon' be alright Even the hardest sister needs a good man in her life I paid the price and my life is still in a damper After times of dirty dancing, get the babies pampers And don't talk about the welfare and how they knock us Knowing that chunp change can't provide nothing proper While the doctors give us new-age birth control They make the swollen to skinny Bleeding constantly or missing monthly, scrapping pennies While my kid's daddy slinging those Z's But ain't doing shit for neither one of these Should I ease up, grab a case, and set it off like Jada Break with the paper, get in a comfort zone from pullin' capers Makes us wanna holler, scream, and shout and say Oh father, why I got live this way [Chorus: Mo B. Dick & (Mia X)] I don't know why I live this way (I don't know why I live this way) I don't know why I live this way (Ooh, ooh, ooh, yeah, yeah) I don't know why I live this way (I don't know why I live this way) I don't know why I live this way (Don't know why, I live this way) [Verse 2] All my sisters keep ya head up, we ain't giving up without a fight There's been a struggle but pretty soon we gonna bubble Though trouble be knocking on my door like every 24-7 Heaven knows that I like to keep the bills in check and Letting my kids down on they birthday Gnaws at my heart and tears me apart Can't let it go like this Racing through the malls at Christmas time, Babylon Got my mind on trip, December 25th ain't gotta bit To do with Christ or his birth Greedy devils give us pagan, holler And profit off us give praise for better days Better be ahead of what I said Third, I can see I can destroy the mental chains on our enslaved brains Cocaine, be the aim, be the means of profit But logically it tells me I'm going to jail and getting killed Oh well, I gotta do what I gotta Until a new day when I don't have to ask why I live this way [Chorus] to fade
