First Feature
The following people have been announced as being on the jury for the Best First Feature Award:
"Überlin" is a song by American alternative rock band R.E.M.. It was released as the second single from their fifteenth and final studio album Collapse into Now on January 25, 2011.
Even though the Wall has since been dismantled, the sculpture was bought by the city from Mrs. Matschinsky-Denninghoff to commemorate the unfortunate chapter in German history.
History
Berlin was one of eight sculptures designed during "Skulpturenboulevard Kurfürstendamm" (Boulevard of Sculptures: Kurfürstendamm), an event commissioned by the city of West Berlin to celebrate Berlin's 750th anniversary in 1987. Of the eight sculptures unveiled, three were allowed to remain past the anniversary year (Berlin, Pyramide, and Cadillacs in Form der nackten Maja); the city and Deutsche Bank acquired Berlin after its original lease had expired.
Berlin is the third studio album by German rock band Kadavar, released on 21 August 2015 by Nuclear Blast. It was the first album to fully feature new bassist Simon Bouteloup.
It featured a cover of Nico's "Reich der Träume" as a bonus track.
Background
After working for four months in the studio, the band finalized the production process of the new album on June 1, 2015, according to their Facebook page.
Drummer and producer Christoph "Tiger" Bartelt commented:
"About 10 years ago, when we - independently of one another - moved to Berlin, we just wanted to break free from home and do something new. I thought it was comfortable, to blend in and just live from day to day. A lot of very long nights and so many completely different people at one place. Where there are opposites you can always ground yourself. We’re all different, come from different places but have managed to create something together we all like. I think the Berlin lifestyle has influenced our band very much and therefore fits perfectly as the album’s title."

We’re looking back at an amazing 73rd edition of the Berlinale that gives us the energy and motivation for the festival editions to come – just like our Honorary Golden Bear winner Steven Spielberg: we’re not finished.

Baghdad 2006: A new train station is to open. All kinds of people have gathered at the railway station for the celebratory event. Sara's (Zahraa Ghandour) plans in view of the event are thwarted by the dubious businessman Salam, and the two find themselves unexpectedly bound together with a bomb and a baby on the rail tracks.
