The Yeti is a Hardmode, post-Plantera enemy that spawns during the Frost Moon event, in its later waves. It behaves similarly to Krampus and the Nutcracker, although it is much stronger and is immune to knockback.

Defeating a Yeti adds 18 points (36 points) during the Frost Moon.

Tips

• Yetis will not attack the player if they are three blocks above their head.

Trivia

• A Yeti, or "abominable snowman", is a mythical ape-like creature said to reside in snowy regions.

The Bestiary entry for the Yeti: "An ill-tempered ape from cold, snowy regions to the north. They do not appreciate festivity, so they've come to spoil all the fun."
