The Yase Alliance (also known as the Yase Turtles) is the majority alliance on the Yase tribe and the minority alliance on the Viakana tribe in Survivor 41.
Beginning as a women's alliance, the Yase Alliance was formed to protect the perceived weaker members on the Yase tribe. However, following the merge twist and a betrayal from Liana Wallace, the alliance was quickly relegated to the bottom of the Viakana tribe as the remaining loyal members were picked off at the first open opportunity.

Strength Is a Weakness[]
After a disastrous showing at the opening Reward Challenge, Yase had to face the reality that they would have to keep the tribe strong to preserve numbers. The argument between strength and loyalty was split between the tribe's men and women, with Evvie Jagoda resting in the middle, having made a bond with David Voce, but also with Liana Wallace and Tiffany Seely. Evvie decided that they were not one of the strongest members of the tribe; as such, it held no strategic merit for them to keep the tribe strong if that would determine the pecking order.
When Yase lost the first Immunity Challenge, Eric Abraham targeted Tiffany for being the oldest female member of the tribe. Evvie's fears proven right, they unified the tribe against Abraham, resulting in his unanimous elimination.
Paranoia Beware[]
Xander Hastings found the Beware Advantage on Day 4, which he shared with his allies Evvie and Voce. Evvie relayed the intel to her real alliance members Liana and Tiffany, providing a motivation for the trio to eliminate Xander. That afternoon, Yase lost yet another Immunity Challenge and Evvie was elected to attend a summit with Luvu member Deshawn Radden, where they revealed that Yase's plan was to take out Xander with his advantage.
Back at camp, Tiffany's paranoia ran wild as Liana struggled to wrangle her ally's fears by re-iterating the mechanics of Xander's Beware Advantage, assuring Tiffany that he had no form of safety or even a vote at that night's Tribal Council. However, Tiffany was unassuaged and she pushed for Voce to be eliminated as a "safe" vote. Upon their return, Evvie was greeted by a panicked Liana and a paranoid Tiffany. This caused the trio to redirect their votes on Voce to placate Tiffany's worries, saving Xander.
Yase Turtles[]
Liana returned from camp disappointed and fearful that keeping Xander would have detrimental consequences for her game downstream. However, Yase managed to defy early odds to win every succeeding Immunity Challenge. The tribe bonded over being the "Yase Turtles", and Xander slowly integrated into the Yase Alliance.
On Day 11, Yase elected Liana to attend a summit with Ua member Shan Smith. There, the two women bonded on a deeply personal level, and Liana ended up receiving the Knowledge is Power advantage, which she planned to use against Xander. This would kickstart a series of events that would culminate in the Yase Alliance's dissolution.
Blue Shell[]
On Day 12, the tribes came together for a team Immunity Challenge that resulted in Evvie landing on the winning team, and Liana, Tiffany, and Xander landing on the losing team. While strategizing at camp, Shan divulged Liana's advantage to Tiffany, creating distrust within the Yase Alliance. Although Liana eventually revealed the nature of the advantage to Tiffany, the cracks could not heal. In the meantime, the alliance managed to settle on a common enemy with the rest of Viakana in Erika Casupanan, who had been exiled following the Immunity Challenge.
However, the Erika plan was quickly thwarted. With the results of the Immunity Challenge reversed by the Hourglass twist and Evvie failing to win individual immunity, Evvie became the primary target at the first post-merge Tribal Council as Luvu and Ua decided to align. Aware of their position in the minority, the Yase Alliance looked for an inroads with the Luvu members and decided to appeal to Sydney Segal, who agreed to work with them aware she was the second-most vulnerable player who did not have immunity that night. Meanwhile, Liana decided to formally pledge her allegiance to the All-Black Alliance, and her plan was to use her Knowledge is Power advantage to prevent Xander from saving Evvie.
At Tribal Council, Deshawn divulged information about Evvie's pre-merge plan to eliminate Xander to the tribe. Regardless, with Tiffany's knowledge of the advantage, the remaining three loyal Yase allies hatched a counterplan, which resulted in Liana's plan backfiring spectacularly. This set off a live Tribal Council where Yase affirmed their interest in working with Sydney. By the skin of their teeth, Evvie survived that Tribal Council and Xander held on to his idol. Sydney, however, was eliminated after unsuccessfully playing the Shot in the Dark.
Dissolution[]
After Night 14, Evvie remained the biggest target, and Xander broke away from the alliance. Tiffany was stonewalled by the rest of the tribe, so when Evvie won the next Immunity Challenge, the majority alliance planned to split the votes between Tiffany and Xander with the hope that Xander would waste his idol. However, Tiffany was voted out and Xander continued holding his idol.
At the following cycle's Double Elimination, Evvie and Xander were placed on the yellow team with their former ally Liana. Xander pulled out an immunity win, giving Evvie and Xander leeway to negotiate with Danny McCray and Deshawn Radden. They proposed a plan to eliminate Liana to weaken Shan. Despite having an idol and an Extra Vote, Xander decided not to use either of them, allowing Evvie to be voted out in a 3-2 vote as Danny and Deshawn elected to stick with the All-Black Alliance.
Xander was now the sole remaining loyal member of the failed Yase Alliance. Fortunately, he was able to collaborate with the other outsiders who had been excluded from the All-Black Alliance, taking out Shan, Liana, and Danny at successive Tribal Councils. Xander went on to contribute to Ricard's elimination. By winning the Final Immunity Challenge, Xander guaranteed himself a place in the Final Three. At Final Tribal Council, Xander's strategy of self-preservation was viewed unfavorably by his allies as a lack of agency. None of the Yase Alliance cast their votes for Xander, who would lose to Erika and Deshawn in a 7-1-0 jury vote.
