The Jaburu Alliance is the majority alliance of the Jaburu tribe, and later the merged Jacaré tribe, in Survivor: The Amazon.
Originally founded by the "younger, prettier girls" to protect themselves from being targeted by the other women, the alliance quickly took control of the voting on the all-women Jaburu tribe. After the tribe switch and the merge, the five core members of the Jaburu Allliance were Alex Bell, Deena Bennett, Heidi Strobel, Jenna Morasca, and Rob Cesternino, and they referred to themselves as The Five.
Although they had a comfortable majority in the merged Jacaré tribe, the alliance ended up turning on each other, leading to several blindsides. Of the original core Five, only Jenna made it to the Final Tribal Council, and she won the title of Sole Survivor after receiving all the available jury votes from her former Jaburu Alliance members.

The Younger, Prettier Girls[]
The all-women Jaburu tribe struggled at camp life early on, and differences in work ethic caused a rift between its older members and the trio of self-proclaimed "younger, prettier girls". Two of the younger girls, Heidi Strobel and Jenna Morasca, formed a tight bond from the start. While in their boat trying to catch fish on Day 10, the two of them convinced Shawna Mitchell to form an alliance to protect themselves from being targeted by the older women. Shawna approached Jaburu's leader Deena Bennett later that day about joining their alliance. Although she had nothing in common with the trio, Deena agreed to join the alliance because she felt that she could easily control the young women.
After the losing the Reward Challenge on Day 11, Shawna had a breakdown and decided she wanted to leave the game. Jaburu then lost the Immunity Challenge the following day and Shawna asked to be voted out. However, Deena viewed JoAnna Ward as the biggest threat to her leadership, and wanted to vote her out instead. The alliance was conflicted as they felt bad about trapping Shawna in the game, but they ultimately did not want to lose their majority advantage. Worried that Shawna would not vote with them, they convinced Christy Smith to vote out JoAnna in exchange for securing Christy's own place within the tribe. Deena's plan came to fruition and JoAnna was blindsided in a 4-2-1 vote, with Shawna going against the alliance and voting for Christy instead. Jeanne Hebert then became the alliance's next target after she lashed out because of her friend's oust.
Taking in the Men[]
After a tribe switch occurred on Day 13, Christy, Heidi, and Jeanne were sent to the opposing Tambaqui tribe, while Alex Bell, Matthew von Ertfelda, and Rob Cesternino joined Jaburu, forming a 3-3 split. Shawna sparked back up in the presence of the men, especially Alex. Deena was concerned that Shawna may be more interested in Alex than in the alliance. New Jaburu won immunity on Day 15, further budding Alex and Shawna's romance. Jaburu then lost the next Immunity Challenge, and Alex and Shawna decided to vote out Matthew. However, Deena felt that Shawna was more interested in Alex than in the game. At Tribal Council, the alliance decided to vote out Shawna in a 4-2 vote.
When the merge came around on Day 19, the new Jaburu tribe decided to stick together and bring Heidi back into the fold, thus giving them the numbers to take out Tambaqui's Butch Lockley, Dave Johnson, and Roger Sexton.
The Merge[]
At the merge, the women of the new Jacaré tribe viewed Roger as a chauvinist for excluding them from building the tribe's shelter. As the respective leaders of their former tribes, Deena and Roger particularly butted heads throughout the first three days of the merge. The Jaburu Alliance planned to vote out Dave first as he was the biggest physical threat. However, Heidi and Jenna convinced Deena to target Roger first, stating he would not voluntarily vote for a woman to win the game if they allowed him to get on the jury. At the Immunity Challenge, Deena won immunity and Christy became the men's target. In the end, Roger was voted out in a 7-3 vote.
At this point, the core members of the Jaburu Alliance were Alex, Deena, Heidi, Jenna and Rob, although they continued to string Matthew along for his vote. The alliance considered voting out Matthew next due to his creepy behavior, but they stuck to their original plan and Dave was voted out unanimously to become the first jury member.
