Synopsis for "Summoner"
Cyclops enters a living room in the Summer House and calls out to his children, Rachel Summers (aka Prestige) and Nathan Summers (aka Cable). He informs them that a second island has appeared 100 miles off Krakoa’s southern coast, attracting Krakoa's attention. He reports that Aurora and Northstar discovered hostile creatures on the island during a flyover.
The trio departs Krakoa in a Blackbird jet. During the flight, Rachel asks Scott why Krakoa is moving towards the new island. Scott admits he doesn’t know and humorously blames Doug Ramsey's absence for their communication issues. They land on the island and encounter its dense and hostile wildlife. Rachel's telepathic scan reveals low intelligence creatures and something that feels human-like.
After hours of trudging through the jungle, Cyclops clears a path with his optic blasts. They encounter a strange white figure speaking an unknown language. Cable tries to offer the figure a gift, but it is a thermal grenade which accidentally detonates. The figure, unaffected, summons three monstrous creatures. A battle ensues, with each Summers family member fighting off a different monster.
Rachel then ends the hostilities by telepathically imparting the Krakoan language to the figure, who explains that Krakoa and the new island, Arakko, are reuniting. As vines from both islands intertwine, the Summoner declares he will stay on the island.
Later, Apocalypse meets the Summoner, who is revealed to be his grandson. The Summoner informs Apocalypse of a looming threat to Arakko, and Apocalypse vows to save both islands.
