Frumgar was the third Lord of the Éothéod and the ancestor of Eorl the Young.
Biography[]
Frumgar led his people north from the middle Vales of Anduin in a migration to the land between the rivers Langwell and Greylin after the overthrow of Angmar, to escape the ever increasing dangers of their former home, which was close to Dol Guldur.[1]
In adaptations[]
In The Lord of the Rings Online, Frumgar appears in a flashback narrating the history of the Éothéod. He is shown befriending dwarves and Wizards at a young age, and his decision to move his people to the Wells of Langflood is partially motivated by his wife being killed in an Orc raid.
