A good crime story that leaves you questioning the motif of the villain and whether his/her actions are truly justified by the community of the story world.
Metaphorically driven through Hitchcock's visual style and lighting. Every frame serves as a story element to push the narrative. This film will leave you dizzy, much like the title itself. I can't believe I only now watched this piece of cinematic art. Wow. Wow. Wow.
Although I was trying to keep up with all the political facts about the history within narrative, I thoroughly enjoyed this remarkable achievement in filmmaking that brings the art of commercial cinema to the big screen. The beats are perfect, the cinematography is everything and the performances will leave you stunned. Oppenheimer serves as a subtle approach to the trauma of the second world war and allows its viewer to surf waves of emotion that is carefully motivated by visual metaphors.
SciFi at its best. Not better than the original, but still worth every minute. The visuals are perfect, the world is stunningly designed and carefully considered. The story is slow but for good reason.
