It's been a while since I actually felt scared and anxious watching a film in a cinema... The disorientation of the protagonist really justifies the many Dutch angles used throughout.

I'll just keep this review short...
This film hits every mark when it comes to proper storytelling. It is absurd. It is nerve wrecking. It is beautiful. It is scary. It is disgusting. It is properly captured.
It keeps you glued to the screen as the story vividly unfolds with the viewer's expectations constantly considered and flipped around.
It is definitely a film the world needs right now considering beauty standards, social media and the way we define "perfection".
I'll probably revisit this one every once in a while just to appreciate its execution.

Another violent film with no meaning or closure... Just brutality and inhumane actions for no reason... I would love to ask the writer why he felt this film was necessary. Sure, horror is not always about meaning but at least some evil comes from a backstory and if it doesn't, then it shouldn't be presented on a screen. Then you're just vomiting spectacle with the intent to harm sensitization.

Every scene ends so awkwardly. The acting is below average. The story is not compelling, but the concept is quite scary... Predictable but still scary...
There was potential, it wasn't executed well enough... I did, however, enjoy the suspense in the beginning... But it all lead to nothing anyway :)

James Wan Literally copy & pasted this film in 2011 and called it Insidious... Lol.
I had a hard time taking anything in this film seriously... Maybe it's old... But I've seen horrors from the 1940s more engaging than this...
I can appreciate the practical effects but that's about it.
