Absolutely phenomenal , and I’ve come to expect nothing less from Christopher Nolan. One my current favourite working directors, for me his films are an experience best enjoyed on the biggest screen possible. Nolan’s movie is based on the biography American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Which tells the story of J Robert Oppenheimer . The man who oversaw the Manhattan Project , and the building of first Atomic Bomb. Which changed course of history , ended Second World War and ushered in the nuclear age and The Cold War. So few men have ever left a mark on world history, like Oppenheimer did. The ensemble cast delivers big performances, leading way is Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer. Who quit scarily looks like Oppenheimer, Robert Downey Jr really had something to prove here. He’s ever bit the equal of Murphy, and showing he’s so much more than just Tony Stark. There’s also strong showings from Emily Blunt and Florence Pugh and Matt Damon . For me this Cinema at it’s very best, watched at the Cinema.
