    A very lovely tribute to 20s 30s slapstick comedy. There's a lot of charm that comes through in this film. It's very creative, full of ideas. Most of the gags work, in my opinion. Some may be a bit repetitive, but I laughed.

    It's especially the final part that I loved, when the trapper's goal is to hunt 100 beavers. Before that, I think the flaws are more noticeable. But the entire final act is a solid 5/5 of absurdity…

    I didn't know before I watched that it was based on a true story. I love the fact that, apart from Colman Domingo, the other prisoners in the film are actual former inmates.

    What an amazing movie !! In addition to directing and starring in it, Jesse Eisenberg also wrote the screenplay, and that's really the film's strong point. He managed to perfectly blend comedy and drama in this story.
