I had the privilege of watching Interstellar in theaters for its 10-year anniversary re-release. I have infinite words to express how this film makes me feel. I truly felt like I was transcending in time and space while watching this. I believe it’s a triumph in the film industry. The cinematography still blows my mind. It looks absolutely beautiful. This was an experience of a lifetime. Especially knowing how rare this is to see on the big screen, makes it so much more special. The acting is just remarkable and breathtaking. Matthew McConaughey, the man that you are. I can’t get over it. Every single person in this film just left me in awe. This was only my second time watching it and as much as I wish it was my first time, I think it was even better. I was just flowing with it, not questioning anything. This film is an echo that just sits with me after watching. I think about every detail and how complex it is, yet it’s not hard to understand the way the story is told. I will say it’s a film you have to be glued to, in order not to miss any details. Hans Zimmer is a true gem. The soundtrack is phenomenal. I’m obsessed with the cornfield chase scene. I have so many favorite scenes it’s hard to pick just one. Everything about it is so important. It makes me feel alive and full of so much emotion. Especially when it comes down to Cooper and Murph. I’m a wreck when he listens to the messages that span 23 years. I have endless admiration for this film. It’s the type of film to shift your perception of life. Alter your brain chemistry. It’s a gift. We learn, take, and make in this lifetime. Cherishing every moment because everything is important. I can watch this over and over again and it will never fail to amaze me.
