Second viewing was honestly really important to solidify my understanding and my opinion of this film. This time I saw it in the back row of my local Regal. Very different from my first time, seeing it in the second row of an Imax theater. The first viewing gave me the full body experience, and today's viewing gave me an overall picture.
This movie is not without flaws. But the highs are so high that the occasional lows feel less significant. At times I still felt a little lost, but by the end, I was just so overwhelmed with awe at the filmmaking. It's possibly the best biopic ever made. It is my personal favorite Nolan film.
