When it said the Director had previously created commercials, it checked out as the first 10 minutes of the movie was the only good part. The rest after that is insufferable and cheesy.

First let me start with pros before cons. Pros: the choreography was fun, cinematography and camera angles engaging, the colors and presentation were decent, actors and actresses weren’t horrible, Goldblum is always a plus.
But… This is tolerable at best but still disappointing. This is just pandering to the long time fans of the play that wanted to see them make a movie and profit millions. “Let me tell you my side of the story” is such a cliche beginning.…

Seeing James MacAvoy not as the insane person in a horror movie is throwing me off a little bit. Definitely not as tolerable as the first… But where the heck are the authorities and adults in this town that actually care to find out what the heck is happening? I mean yeah it’s not a realistic movie and I think that’s why it’s not as scary to me. I really do like Bill Hader though that’s a plus always.
