The Greatest Showman 2017

A great film I loved rewatching (at the sing-along too)! I caught a lot more of the story, ya know, now that I’m an adult in the real world. It’s a great movie with a great story.
Meet the Parents 2000

Yeah not as funny this time around. I’m sad that this seems to be the case for quite a few comedies I love. Don’t get me wrong - I still laughed lots and got a goood kick out of this disaster comedy, BUT it didn’t hold true to my memory.

I can’t wait to show this to my kids. I loved this film. Definitely call it “the giant iron” as a bit, but it’s really sweet. I like the simplicity of the message, and how relatable it can be. Also makes me think of the whole AI world we’re living in. It can just put itself back together. Anyway let’s not get political. This movie is beautiful.
Cinderella 1950

I actually didn’t realize that’s how this movie went. I’ve only ever known the last 20 minutes of this story. So getting to watch it in its full glory was a treat!
While the story is classic and charming, what I loved most about this film is the prevalent music, and the large part it plays in the film. The cat and mouse scene especially stood out to me - the score carries so much character!
Finally, in general, old movies rock!!
