    Last week was my birthday, and the only reason I mention that was because it was also my grandmother’s birthday. She has since passed away and I wanted to honor her by watching her favorite film ever on our birthday, The Birds. Unfortunately I had a stomach bug so we had to reschedule but tonight was lovely. We all shared some memories and then watched it.

    Equally hilarious and terrifying how much Soderbergh got right. Super tight, great cast, is a little dated and doesn't have as much weight having lived through a lesser version of this though It's still terrifying.

    Jude Law's fake teeth are terrible and I hate it but it's perfect for his scarily accurate role in this.

    Still not 100% sure how I feel about it. Looked great on 35. Baker doing Safdies is something I feel like I should get behind, and I do on a surface level. I actually really enjoyed it. It’s hilarious and there’s not one performance that’s lacking. Probably a good time to say this is the best Karren Karaguilan has been and I’m convinced that’s just how he is off screen.
