Ten-year-old Willow follows her parents on one of their secret late-night treks to the heart of an ancient forest. After witnessing her father undergo a terrible transformation, she too becomes ensnared by the dark ancestral secret that they've so desperately tried to conceal.

This movie is so fucking boring that I found myself wishing I was at work, only reason this isn’t a half star is because you see kit Harrington naked with a giant collar on his neck
A laughable abusive relationship drama mixed in with a bland werewolf movie. The atmospheric isolated location and the fact that Kit Harington is a werewolf made this a fun premise but it's so bland, boring and dumb that there's no fun to be had here. Kit is barely in the movie at all, he's the most interesting but we somehow focus on other characters instead. Not enough dialogue or character interactions. Lots of dumb plot holes. Boring third act. The acting was decent. I did enjoy the few seconds of werewolf screen time.
Gecenin ikinci berbat filmi..... Filmin son 10 dk sonda çıktı kurt adam ortaya.... Yoksa kurt adamsız kurtadam filmi İzlemiş olacaktık.... Game of thrones Jon snow diziden sonra adam akıllı bir yapımda rol almadı sanırım...
It’s a family drama disguised as a werewolf film. The film is heavily coded and can be read as an abusive father that manipulates his family into always staying by his side. He’s toxic and seeps of possessiveness, controlling, and jealousy. It’s also how the father’s abuse will trickle down and continue its wrath. Kit Harrington is underused in the role but gets to really shine during a mini-monologue about his family curse.
My biggest gripe with the movie is how poorly lit it is, especially during the final act. The horror aspects finally rev up and you can’t see a damn thing. It’s sooo dark. I thought it was maybe to hide the creature effects? Maybe? IDK but I don’t even know what was happening at certain moments.
A slow-burn that feels pointless by the end. I was hoping for some sort of unexpected surprise but nope. 4/10.
I wanted it to be cool. It sounded cool. It looked cool. But it wasn't cool enough. It's not a colossal disappointment, but let's say that I wasn't impressed.
The Beast Within had the potential to be a decent werewolf horror flick. It was shadowy, had a recluse location, a foggy setting, and Kit Harington doing what he does best – wearing a fur coat. Instead, the movie seems interested in being a metaphorical take on domestic violence without the engagement of exhibiting its aftermath.
But do you know what I hate the most? When you take an eternity to show your werewolf and do nothing with…
A fairly decent werewolf film. Kit Harington is perfect for the role!🔥 The makeup & special effects worked best when he was in the process of transforming, which was some of the film’s best monster imagery. It seemed the filmmakers were trying to develop a subplot for the story, one where a very human/not supernatural brutishness of character was evident within the family, & was made to manifest at times of hardship & stress. But the editing wasn’t cohesive, so the subplot failed to be clearly conveyed… and the werewolf plot on its own was not strong enough to carry the film. It was watchable, & I didn’t hate it.
Beast Within follows 10-year-old Willow as she navigates unsettling events that make her question her family's isolated life in the English wilderness. When she sneaks out to track her parents during one of their mysterious late-night outings, things take a surprising turn. First off, the moment her dad slapped the sandwich out of her hand felt way too personal. Kit Harington’s performance left me confused; his character was meant to dominate in certain scenes, but it just didn’t work for me. I liked Willow and her grandfather, but I’m still trying to figure out why the grandfather puts up with so much. The atmosphere was set up nicely, but when the big twist finally hit, I was left with more questions than answers. There were too many loose ends, which made the whole experience pretty frustrating.
Came for Jon Snow, forced myself to stay for aggravation. I thought Out of Darkness was going to reign supreme as my least favorite horror of the year but I was wrong. Here comes Alexander J. Farrell’s The Beast Within which bootleg spoiler alert, stars Kit Harington (I say stars loosely because he’s barely in this) as a father/husband/werewolf. What follows is extremely frustrating story about a family of idiots (minus the daughter).
Besides the fact that is as slow as molasses, the film’s number one problem is the domestic violence subplot. Never mind Imogen’s (Ashleigh Cummings) husband turns into a savage beast a few days a month (though every day seems to end in a full moon in this flick) but…
Such a forgettable and dragging movie. I mean don’t get me wrong, great performances all round from the cast but there’s just nothing really to this film. I was bored by the time the final act finally came around and even then, it wasn’t worth the wait in all honesty. So much more could have been done with the narrative and cast provided but instead it’s a disappointing slog to get through. Not a bad film but an unfortunate tease fest that becomes tedious and stale quite quickly.
Literally nothing happens in this movie and it just ends. The only good thing about this movie was the acting and nothing else. The cinematography was not that bad as well. But overall this is a pretty weak movie and nothing happens and I wouldn't really suggest it to anyone.
