No one is free, even the birds are chained to the sky.
When I would find myself in a movie, don't let Vincent D'Onofrio be in it please.
“I mean, you've seen some things. I've showed you some things for sure, but you haven't understood them. You ever do a puzzle? You know the kind of puzzle that has the picture on the outside of the box? That's what people are. Pictures on the outside, pieces inside.”
Chained was very well done, and the acting was great. The sensation of dread makes you feel hopeless as well as the whole atmosphere. This had me immersed in the story straight from the beginning, looking for some sort of hope. The first 15 minutes of the film is certainly dark and sets the tone perfectly for what you’re about to watch.
Vincent D'onofrio, most notably from (Full Metal Jacket), is…
So intense, so twisted and so disturbing! I saw this about 8 years ago and I even forgot the ending. Very well acted! It is a hard movie to watch! Not for everyone! You must like disturbing movies even to get through it. A movie that will leave you with a bad feeling! If this sounds ok to you maybe you can watch it! It’s like watching a nightmare! More mental than anything!
Vincent D'Onofrio is exceptionally great at playing mentally unstable, villainous creeps.
Watching a serial killer doing their action is undeniably terrifying but watching them trying to forcefully form their replacement? Never imagined would be this unnerving.
Chained is such a dark, disturbing and provocative psychological thriller that explores trauma through the lens of a brutal and unsettling crime. Man, despite all the brutal things that happened in this film, this is actually really sad. The film shows how trauma can shape a person’s moral compass and turns them into the worst thing possible.
For me, this is not an easy watch. Its grim subject matter, graphic violence, and the tension between victimhood and complicity makes me feel uncomfortable in every way. It’s a morally complex narrative yet thought-provoking about its bleak and harrowing subject matter—especially trauma. The ending.. quite had me speechless. I knew something was creeping in but it’s still quite shocking the hell out of me.

Bob may look like the typical cabbie but in reality it is a disguise that he uses to abduct and kill women. Bob is a serial killer. One day he picks up a mother and her young son and disposes of the mother as he normally would do. The young boy was not planned for, and so Bob decides to spare his life and make him a slave with the purpose of making the boy keep his house clean, maintain his newspaper scrapbook, and maybe follow in his…
Educational tips from a serial killer
Torture porn at it's best! Chained is disturbing and hard to watch in some parts but i've seen much worse, it's fairly surface level with what it shows. The psychological torture stuff and the dialogue is the most effective and disturbing here.
A Bone chilling excellent performance from Vincent D'Onofrio and his character is up to par with that. A serial killer I deem worthy of having his own Dexter show. The inner turmoil psychological scenes with him are gold, I just wish it had a longer runtime for that.
The whole idea of it is unrealistic, the fact that nobody ever suspected the taxi but then again I don't know sinse some serial…
Yeah didn't see anyone get serial killed by a bus driver huh??? Think before you diss public transport

David Lynch "I made this movie Eraserhead about my feelings of being a parent"
So Jennifer Lynch, what is this second movie you ,made going to be about? "It's about generational abuse."

This movie is a slow one, and it does drag in the middle. Not sure how I'd fix it because of how much of it about Bob teaching Rabbit how to be a killer and it does have a payoff.
The movie has this tense unease throughout, while not supernatural is has this feeling of unease, like were not watching people, and yet these are people.
For a while I wondered why they needed to have…
